Hints please for my last two unsolved clues 15ac and 27d

15a Homophone for a historical region of France (think Asterix)

27d 'very' and 'united' are the usual abbreviations, with the 'united' contained by the plural of a short disgreement

Grid almost full, clashes listed... and I still can't fathom the 15-lettered word. I know it has two elements, 5 and 10..
