Thanks Chasm for clues. Think I must be the only one not to have sent off their quiz.
Still cant get my head round Q47 from your clues. 4 letter word for county - Avon? Kent?. 4 letter word for players - Side? Team?. Am getting nowhere. Cant find 8 letter synonym for last word.
Q48. 4 Letter word for fine linen plus 3 letter word for cut - Axe? Lop? plus ER?
