16d you are looking for a common word used for plasters. I haven't got 25ac yet.

I've now read through the undefined theme words and only got two, which surprisingly I was able to enter into the grid (they may be wrong).

I'm hoping I've understood the theme and assume most of the answers are places, but I've never understaood what human geography means.

I think I know the five town mentioned above, but cannot see which it relates to. I have numbered them 1-37 for my convenience.

I could do with a hint for 11d and 3d.

I have to go and sort out my Hot Cross Buns now to put them in the airing cupbopard to rise overnight, then there is the BBC4 Irish/New Zealand thriller. I think I'll still be working on this tomorrow or Monday. I've some gardening to do as well.

roof - 11 is Latin - def 1st 2 words, ends in first 3 letters of trash. 3 isn't ... buckets! Eco-friendly - I just had one installed.

No one picked up on my comment earlier re the grid symbolism. Perhaps consider this…

Roof I'm having a fine old time. Southern Italy is very sunny but a bit windy just now. I'm working my way through this but even though I am getting there gradually I don't think I've properly got the theme yet.

Darts Farm is a place I could spend a lot of money if I was out of control. A fine place.

Hi Rocky

I confined myself to the bottles of salad dressing I wanted.

Hi Jono

But will the grid pattern help me solve any of the clues?

A reflection of this special week-end I suppose.

I don’t think so Roof, I just thought it was an interesting observation and a nice touch from Maskarade
