LOL .. no problem at all other than I don't see a connection between snide and rip - but most days I learn something new from this forum. I can confirm I feel just as happy/stroppy as ever!

Well ! I felt that I had finally written a clue that I really liked, but I certainly did not expect to win!

Now, I shall have another challenge: choosing a good word to be clued that has not already been given, and also I haven't got a clue (.... !!!) how to put the rules up. Any help appreciated.

Well done indeed pigale. You simply copy and paste from the week before this one, remembering to alter the number of the competition , the date and the word!!
