As far as 12A is concerned, the clincher for "waters " is the 23rd.Psalm connection - likewise 3A, 8A, 9A, 11A, 16A (in the singular), 17A, 20A, 15D (and possibly some I haven't yet solved.) (Definitely not 25A, though - David seems to have avoided using "kiwi" in his hymn of praise ......)

Hi, Kitties. In the absence of an Apostle Haul, I suggest your second choice (a variant of PAWL).......24D is a number -- precedes "bit " in an American expression meaning "cheap ".
