Geting - as it’s been a slack day for clues being submitted, here’s one to get your teeth into:

Tom’s put onto the daily shift; no set overtime paid out, surprisingly, roughly every 4 weeks. (7)

Okay, I think I've got it:

Tom’s put onto the daily shift; no set overtime paid out, surprisingly, roughly every 4 weeks. (7)

TOMSPUTONTOTHEDAILY*
subtract SET + OT + PAID + OUT
then reshuffle

or is it possibly

TOMSPUTONTOTHEDAILY*
subtract O(no) + SET + OUT(over) + T(time) + PAID
with 'out' being the indicator

Geting - your first answer was correct.

“Shift” is the first *
“ No” does the elimination. We used “ O” and “ T” combined as “ overtime” to give a reasonable surface read..
“ Surprisingly “ has to be used as the words to be eliminated are jumbled in the first anagram and “ roughly” has to be used to reconstitute the remainder into the definition.

But obviously you’d worked that out.

We’re happy to just enter the clues for others’ interest or criticism. We’re not really concerned with votes and for PR and WPR we will probably just enter and defer voting in future.
It’s just the challenge that interests us! If you win, you can’t then contribute - if that makes sense.
