Yes, Bunty - I had a quick look and I think they are.

Is anyone still out there? I've been away for a few days and playing catch up. I've filled the grid etc but I cannot find the thematic item on the right hand side of the grid that uses the 'e'. Can anyone help? Many thanks in anticipation.

the E is from 20a Eases ... change it to a C and look down...

..and yes that E isn't really in the RHS of the grid ... it's in the middle...but it all fits so must be ok...

I've no longer got my grid, but I have reminded myself of the items. There are 2 beginning with Bs, 2 Cs, 2 Ws, 2 Ps, 2 Ss and a D and a Z. Hope this helps!

Thank you Malone and Sudokulover. I made the the mistake of looking in the right hand of the grid and so ignored the middle.But it all makes sense and thanks again.

We seem to have had a rash of sausage themed puzzles recently - it would be offally good to have a break now.
