If Les had went with funeral rather than wake, which I don't see as being the same thing, it would have got my vote so paul @ 18.

ginge - the wake is the funeral (wake was used for misdirection because funeral alone wouldn't have worked in the surface read) - maybe I see it's got the ghosting quality

Hi Les. I hope you didn't think I was being critical but perhaps it's a Scottish thing but here the wake is distinct from the funeral and need not be held immediately after the funeral service.

I've tried various algorithms but the result is too close to call.
