Have you got the seven letters left after filling in the other words/grey squares? You only need one more letter, a consonant.

I haven't and I can't relate them to the W1, W2 etc instruction either. Is 28d the place name? I think I don't get how to work out what goes under the grid.

Yes, 28 D is the place name. You said earlier that you had the phrase and what to alter - so I'm unsure how much help or hints to give! J

That maybe sounded a little unhelpful - it wasn't meant to! If you've already changed the other unclued entries, check off the letters you've used in the grey squares against the relevant letters in W1, W2 etc.
The phrase itself, defined by the extra letters, is what's to go under the grid.

My phrase does not correlate to the W1 etc instruction. But I have changed 3 include words 1d. 7a. 21a. I assumed I had to change clued one on bottom line with a synonym I can't find. Am I wrong?

Crossed posts. Yes, the bottom one has to change in line with the other three. The phrase is very helpful - it supplies the letters needed.

Then I need more than a hint about the bottom line. The phrase I started with which got me going is put your ..... Where your .....is. But that's not right now is it?

The 'your' is the only wrong bit - and it all works out after that!
