Thanks trevor, I'm sure you have the rigt answer, you usually have, but why is Stamford Bridge a modest description of the River Welland?

By the way, I enjoyed your answers about Mornington Crescent.

I don't know if this is what Trevor was thinking, but the Welland flows through the town of Stamford; describing it as a "brook" would be a rather modest way of doing so!

Lime Street and Rodney Street are streets in Liverpool (I had to look up Rodney Street - it has lots of doctors abd is called "the Harley Street of the north".)

shane - ignore Earl's Court and Queen's Park. Excel was counting the apostrophe as a character.
