Unspoken!- but it's very rare that actual answers are posted on RT threads.

Maybe I've never managed to answer any before!

I will bear it in mind though.

Please don't worry - there have been lots of exceptions!

For once I have finished (except for 15A) without any help via computer so it must be easier this week. For 15A I have ?O?L?C? Lake shortage in the wake of river fish. Having typed it in I now see the answer.

Lovely day here and one daffodil on the verge of opening so Spring must be coming!

I didn't think it all the easy. At first reading I think I had only one across answer. Fortunately the downs were a bit more obvious!

Thanks chrise. I am actually feeling quite pleased with myself with this week`s Xword. I may be joining the modern world shortly as my children are intending to get me an ipad thing so I can send emails and access the crossword site in the house.

I`m still stuck on 8 ac (Is it Nimes? If so, why?)
and 20 ac. ? L ? N / ? U ? R ? G. I`m not sure about the `G` there. Any hints gratefully received! Mags.

As soon as I posted that I realised the answer to 20 ac -
famous man. Still needing 8 ac though. Mags.
