Sometimes my letter I becomes an I - it's just done it there as I typed 'i' for the first one! It doesn't always happen, but it can be very annoying if it's in the middle of a clue

It is very hot and humid still and I am tired of sitting in the shade all day :(

Apologies, Jazzgirl!
One day I am going to be correct and surprise everybody!
I have did a fair amount of walking today.
Town walking, not nice pleasant fresh air walking.
Town walking is tiring!

Jazzgirl, Rusty, Norah... thanks for the update re auto-correct and the 'i'/I problem - I forgot to return to the thread.

If there isn't an actual 'autocorrect' or 'settings' button on my keyboard, I will never track it down - so I think I will always use capital letters.

I think the default setting for auto correct should be OFF. I have managed to turn mine off.
I refuse to use predictive text on my mobile phone, either.
Technology and me dont get on!

Late to add a contribution, but...........I get round the problem by copying the posted letters and pasting into Word (or Chambers Word Wizard). Either correctly distinguishes between I and L, whether upper or lower case.

P.S. is there are problem with autocorrect if you DON'T leave a space either side (as, in my opinion incorrectly, suggested in the Posting Tips).

I'll try

c?i?l

C ? i ? L
