Thanks for parsing Eirlys - I got to king Lear but wasn't sure about the kr (I had wondered whether it might be from rook (as the piece) but wasn't at all convinced)

I also thought of chess piece, so googled and rook notation is shown as R

There is a solution published online for the puzzle but I can't give the link cos the last time someone did that they were banned!

The kr does come from krone/krona
