Hi there. Hailstorms preventing gardening, so here I am trying the Inquisitor again. I have a lot of answers, some guesses, but can't get to grips with eg. 15a. I thought I had left a foodstuff out and had a good answer, but am now doubting. Any pointers anyone?

I think the first part of 15 is an anagram of retire and there's an extra letter which I haven't got.

I had reiterating (anagram minus meat) but have El Niño as a guess for 8d. Have you sussed that?

15 must end in -tion though I still cannot see the extra letter and I don't see where you get meat from. Then 14 works. 14 and 8 (I agree with you there) both have food items in them.

Have you got "puff" for 8? What about 14: imagine strolling around Spain - I have 8 letters. Cannot solve.
