Hi everyone. I am getting on quite well with quiz - but I don't have any idea what I am looking for with :-
54. Wolf ( They could take flight ) and
89. He wrote on the breach but it was the country to which he was really attached ( 6)
Any hints gratefully received !

Actually he wrote On the BEACH!! If you don't know the author, google it and even if you do, google it anyway.

I also find 54 puzzling as whichever meaning you take for 'wolf', it's singular but then it's 'they' could take flight.

85. The 'box' bit refers to what a pugilist does.

Can anyone offer a hint for 100. I have an answer which satisfies 3 parts of the question but not the 'for so long' and with the rainbow quiz, every bit is significant.
