Can you explain that, please, Malone. I can see lan, which I think is a network but I can't find "nallas" I dictionary or tinternet. I presume finally contracted is las(t)

Yes, LAN< + LAS(t). NALLA is an alternative spelling of NULLA, given by Chambers as 'a ravine; a watercourse; a stream or drain'.
