Hi cloverjo, I'm not doing this so not 100% sure but it might be worth looking at "chose" in Chambers.

Thanks to you both. I still can't get it, but I've just got the theme and the unclued answers, so I have a bit more to go on. I'm sure your hints will help when I get a few more letters in that area, and think about it a bit more.
