I just can't get two clues. Can anyone give a hint with this one, please? The length given is that of the grid entry, not necessarily that of the answer. (I'm trying not to give away the theme.)

5d Old-timer may reprise this show song with tenor line (6)
D?REM? (Entry may not be a real word)
My explanation might not make sense to anyone who doesn't have the puzzle.
Thank you.

I may be way off but...........

Brendan,s hint is really good. Think of a song from the sound of music!

I didn't really think this was up to listener standard but it was fun while it lasted. The architecture clue was particularly weak.

I think I've bitten off more than i can chew here - that said, I've got 9 of the 10 names and all but one clue entered, so any hints most welcome...

28d. Enrapt, end up roundly grooved (5) - TRE?D ( (5) is the no. of letters entered in the grid, not necessarily the no. in the answer)
.
I thought it might be TREAD (Grooved), but I'm hoping it isn't because then I'm a name short.

Also, 16a. Slide uncontrollably sideways? Up north, we provide a motorised sledge (6) - SKIDOO (Motorised sledge)

I can see the SKID (Slide uncontrollably), but how is the rest parsed?
