Only can come up with trifled but can't justify.
24d is morro but I don't see a connection with other clue

Taigled? - mea s hindered and has Gi in it, but can't parse any further.....

I wonder if '24' is 'dealt' or 'delta'?

Looks like a typo as 26a is delta rather than 24 morro. No wonder I couldn't see a connection.
