Welcome to CLUELESS, our informal weekly clue-setting competition.

Enjoy composing a cryptic clue for the word supplied.

The “Clueless setter” selects the winning entry and they become next weeks “Clueless setter”.

It is customary for the setter to donate a virtual prize for the winning entry.

To be fair to others, please do not make any comments on entries until after the winner has been declared.

Please do not parse your clue as many forum members enjoy parsing the clues that are offered.

I will most probably request some to be parsed before judgement day as there are many very clever clue writers on this forum.

Multiple entries may be submitted, and new competitors are particularly welcome!

Please submit your clues by Noon Wednesday 30th July, forum time.

There may be a delay in announcing a winner due to time zone differences.

This week's word to be clued is: CONCRETE

Have fun!
