I've solved nearly all the clues, and spotted the 'missing letter' trick (eg. Livings on -> Livingston, con rolling -> controlling in 8D), but I can't see what the 'warning' is.

Help, anyone?

I have the warning but am finding the clue-solving slow going. 14 ac, 16 ac, 39 & 41 ac are giving me especial grief. Any hints would be welcome.
