Parsing please.

Some consonants are like private thoughts. Answer = unvoiced

Stab with this spoils breakfast in bed. Answer = Bread knife.

Like old record or new hair shirt. Answer I think is stretchy.

And finally:

3d He dithers over this change. E?I?

unvoiced....silent like some consonants in the word but you don't say them

bread knife ...a subtractive anagram take stab out of "breakfast in bed" anagram of what's left

ore can me change I think o for ring and re for about
