I'm finding it very troublesome to access
the Crossword solver website.
When I clicked on the help forum
I got a link to a site that seemed extremely dangerous.
Then one on betting and several others.
McAfee kept putting up the red warning sign.
I'm not very computer literate and having been
hacked before I feel a little wary about coming back
to the site. Anyone else experiencing these problems?

I've checked with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox and have no problems with the adverts you mention .
You could try blocking the adverts by installing an Ad Block if you are having bad experiences
Admin. recommend Firefox or Google Chrome as browsers..

Also messages saying site is not safe, if I access forum using my phone.
It's a pain in the butt!

I am getting a pop up telling me to,
"Please install Codec Performer Update".
That is using Internet Explorer.
It is only happening on this website.

Thanks, Jazzgirl.

I am only getting it on this site.

Not knowing why it is bugging me, I shall get Mr Norton to do a full scan and see if that helps.

Ironically, I haven't seen a single advert all day - nary a one!!!!!!! Very unusual - normally I am continually harassed by them popping up all over the place on this site. I'm using Internet Explorer today.

I am still getting unwanted popups for Flash Adobe, and one telling me to download latest version of Internet Explorer. This is on my laptop, and only occurs on Crossword Help Forum. All other sites I visit are fine.
On my Android phone, each time I log on to Crossword Help Forum, I get a message saying that "this website is not secure". Again, all other websites are OK.
