I'm confused. There is no 17ac in today's (13/4/14) prize crossword in The Herald (Glasgow). As mentioned earlier, we are here and pleased to help but you must enter the clue as printed and any letters you may already have. I was last week's winner (Andrew Bryson)!

Finally
Little space so emissions initially gush (7) E?T?U?E looks like Enthuse so=thus + e but can't see how the EN means little space.
