The Week no. 801
I am totally baffled by these two clues. Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

1. Time for book on former US president and his end (4) - I already have t ? s ?

2. A walk in the park and then home to eat hot toast (4-4 first letters c&c).

A walk in the park = easy, a cinch
home = in
cinchin, with H, for Hot inside.
chin chin = toast(like, bottoms up, cheers etc)

Many thanks, again, to all who have contributed answers. I was still scratching my head over chin-chin but now I see it.
