How are you all doing?
I've almost finished, but have two to solve. I'm really stuck on 12a and think I must have 10d wrong.:(
I am not asking for hints or answers as I will keep at it.

I've got one word that vaguely means protection but just get the Queen Victoria bit.

(Protection for Queen Victoria, one so insular)

Any pointers appreciated.

Should read "can't get Queen Victoria bit"!

Victoria at the front and Regina at the back. The whole word can protect (the eyes ) when motoring for example.

Got it thanks. I had the wordfinder slightly wrong :)

I've finally cracked it. I realised I had 9a wrong, so altering that gave me the others. yipee.
